Multi-Wall Packaging's Fiber-Guard™ Division announces their newest innovation for stacking strength and edge protection with anti-abrasion.
      
Fiber-Post™ utilizes heavyweight 6" paperboard (.040 to .045) and is slit-scored and folded over using strong hot melt adhesive (HM 065). This "spine" is then laminated via hot melt to the same .040-.045 paperboard "wing" and then formed into a two-piece 90° angle. The wing is slit-scored to provide 1.5" by 4.5" dimensions and coated before forming with Michelman Resist-a-coat 39 for anti-abrasion. The product is then cut to length and stacked on pallets and stretch wrapped for shipment.
